1. Information we collect

We may collect account and contact information, store and product selections, support communications, transaction records when those functions are enabled, and technical information needed to secure and operate the service.

2. Seller verification information

Seller applications may include a legal name, nationality, business address, email, mobile number, identity-document type and number, signature, and identity images. The platform stores only the last four characters of the identity number after submission. Identity images are stored separately in private encrypted storage.

3. How information is used

• To create and manage customer, seller and store accounts.
• To verify seller identity, contact details and requested store names.
• To prevent fraud, abuse and duplicate transactions.
• To provide support, maintain records and meet applicable legal obligations.
• To operate, secure and improve the marketplace.

4. Sharing and service providers

Information may be shared only as needed with hosting, storage, communications, identity-verification, payment or wallet providers that support the service; with professional advisers; or with authorities when legally required. Provider details will be completed before public launch.

5. Retention

Encrypted identity images are scheduled for deletion 30 days after a final seller-application decision. Verification status, the last four characters of the identity number, consent records and audit history may be retained longer for security, dispute and legal-record purposes. Other information is retained only while reasonably needed for the purposes described here.

6. Security

CSHOPEE uses access controls, private storage, encryption and administrative audit records to protect sensitive information. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction or deletion of your information, subject to identity confirmation and any records that must be retained. You may also withdraw an unreviewed seller application by contacting us.

8. Age requirement

CSHOPEE seller accounts are intended only for people who are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.

9. Updates

We may update this notice as the service and its providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
